FAQs

Should I stop taking my medications

Allure Apothecary & Wellness representatives are not medical doctors and we do not offer medical advice.  By law, we do not have the legal authority to tell you to stop taking your medication.  Please speak to your physician for medical advice.

Herb & Capsule Quality

Our products are created using wildcrafted and organic herbs. Wildcrafted herbs are grown free in nature, without any human intervention like the addition of fertilizers or pesticides. This means they’re stronger, more resilient, and more potent than other herbs. Our vegetable capsules are plant based, and suitable for consumption by individuals with specific dietary preferences and those with religious backgrounds. They are non-GMO and free of gluten, preservatives and allergens.

Are your Products/formulas sweetened

No! The vegetable glycerin within our elixirs and tonics is naturally very sweet, which explains the sweetness you might be tasting. We use kosher and organic food grade vegetable glycerin.

The only "sweetener" that we use is actual Stevia leaf.

Do we offer consultations

Yes! We are available for one-on-one consultations. Please visit our Consultations tab for more information.

Parasite Cleansing FAQ's

Q: What are parasites and why is it important to be aware of them?

A: Parasites are organisms that live in or on a host and depend on that host for survival. While they serve important ecological roles in nature, certain types of parasites can inhabit the human body and may contribute to imbalances; particularly when digestive or immune function is compromised.

Our Parasite Cleanse is formulated to support a healthy gut environment with herbs traditionally used to promote internal clarity and balance. It may be a valuable addition to a seasonal reset or part of a broader wellness routine.

Q: How do I know if I have a parasite?

A: Here are some signs that have been associated with parasitic imbalance:

  • Intermittent digestive issues (e.g. bloating, gas, loose stools, or constipation)
  • Persistent fatigue or low energy
  • Skin changes such as rashes, hives, or itchiness
  • Sleep disturbances, including teeth grinding
  • Shifts in appetite or sugar cravings
  • Brain fog or mood fluctuations

These signs are not diagnostic, and many factors can contribute to them. However, if you’ve addressed other causes and symptoms, it may be worth discussing parasite screening with a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Q: How long should I do the Parasite Cleanse?

A:
A: The length of your cleanse depends on your goals, lifestyle, and how your body responds. Here are a few pathways to consider:

Gentle Maintenance (3–5 days | 4–6 capsules daily):

  • Ideal for seasonal clearing or light support
  • Option 1: 1–2 consecutive days, once per week for a month
  • Option 2: 3–5 consecutive days, once per month
  • Tip: Stick to mostly liquids on single-day cleanses for extra ease

Deeper Reset (6–14 days | 4–6 capsules daily):

  • 6 days, twice per year for a moderate reset
  • 8–14 days, once per year for a deeper reboot

Q: Are the Parasite Cleanse Tea and Parasite Defense Capsules safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

A: We do not recommend using parasite cleansing products while pregnant or breastfeeding. If you suspect a parasitic imbalance or need support during this time, please consult with a qualified healthcare provider.
